Mount Bonnell Engagement Session | Brittannie + Drew
This engagement session will forever be my favorite engagement session! To start, I got to take a break from the hot Arizona desert to shoot in gorgeous green Austin, Texas at the most amazing location, Mount Bonnell. This session was also my first ever sunrise session, and even though we all woke up at 5AM to make this session happen, and had to go to bed early that night to make up for waking up so early, it was so worth it with the cooler air and less humidity. And finally, and most importantly, these engagement pictures are of my beautiful best friend Brittannie and her fiancé Drew!! Brittannie and Drew got engaged last November, and shortly after their engagement we decided that I would fly up to Austin to spend a long weekend with them and finish the weekend off by taking their pictures. I was very excited for this trip in the months coming up to it, but I left Austin feeling more full and happy than I could have imagined. Not only was it was wonderful weekend filled with delicious food, relaxing swims at Barton Springs, and a lot of laughing– it was also filled with a lot of great talks, fun memories, and sharing stories of when we were young. If you can believe it, Brittannie and I have known each other since we were 11 years old, and have remained close friends over the past 17 years! That is why when Brittannie asked me to be her Matron of Honor by giving me an amazing gift that contained pictures of our entire friendship from the beginning until now that ended with a card asking me to be her Matron of Honor, I was so touched and excited! Brittannie has been like a sister since I met her, and I am so excited to stand by her on her wedding day as she has always stood by me my entire life! Drew and Brittannie, thank you so much for hosting me for such a fun weekend get away to Austin! I had so much fun taking your engagement pictures and cannot wait for you wedding!
